It’s been a pretty hectic week in the Tally Ho! office.
The first issue is approaching deadline, and we still have a whole lot of articles that need to be written, a whole lot of advertisers to give the ‘hurry up’ (seriously, you’d think these businesses would be a lot more on the ball when it comes to getting their ads to us on time for print), and the website needs to be constantly updated. Ahh, so much work, so few people to actually do it.

Here’s an article I’ve been working on today…
I think it’s coming along pretty well.
It’s been very difficult choosing out of a year’s worth of amazing records, which deserve to make this top twenty list. Phew.

In other cool news, we’re putting on a show for American electronic act Daedelus, who’s on the Ninjatunes label (along with acts like Mr. Scruff), and he’ll be staying with us at our new place above Goodbye Blue Monday, in Poplar Lane. Stoked on that.

Also have a show coming up in Feb for The Ruby Suns.

My older brother and I talked for a while today about our lives. He told me about things he has discovered on his journey to find peace with both himself and things around him. I realised today that I find myself freed from my mind around the element of earth. I learnt about the power of now and how to accept and move on. I learnt that I have to stop hurting myself before other people and that I need to stop being afraid and saying no when life offers me good things. I won’t be bound to time, the control of society or the control of money. I’m lucky that i’m figuring all this out so early in my life, and i’m really lucky I have my big brother to go to for advice on things like this.

There is just so much significance in things that are happening in my life. They aren’t coincidences any more. I’m changing.
